Hi ! everyone. How are you doing ?
Recently I'm busy for preparing for the school festival. It's coming the end of this weekend.
While I was staying at Hawaii, I tried to keep speaking only in English, so I felt my English had been improved. But after coming back to Japan, I have only a few oppotunities to use English, so my English level is getting worse again.
What I do to keep my English is as below;
-watching English TV programs(sometimes with shadowing)
-going to Berlitz(but only once in a week)
-reading English books(but only ten-twenty mins in a day)
I bought some DVDs in Hawaii. I want to watch them with English subtitles, but I haven't done yet.
Now,what are you doing to keep or improve your English skill ? If you have a good idea, please share it.

Hi, Yuka.
Me too. I'm doing the same thing now.
I'm always wathching English TV.
I think I can understand than before.
Other things?
I read English newspapers.
I write e-mails to my friends.
I speak with ALT.
I listen to music. Oh, I bought Jazz Chants CDs at that store.
BUT! These are not enough, right?
I think our English level is not going to be worse. I hope...
I think if we go back to Hawaii or any English countries, we can use English like before.
Maybe we need some time to get used to. but after that, our English ability will be back.
Anyway, I felt Hawaiisick again.
This is serious.
I need to go to Hawaii soon!
Hello, Yuka.
I try to listen to English CDs (of CNN English Express) as long as possible.
And it is good for you to speak English in your classes. It will motivate you to come in touch with English.
Good luck!
To Satomi,
Oh, you bought Jazz Chants CDs? Good! Did you use them in your class? If so, please share about it. I have some Jazz Chants CDs,too. I bought them from Matsuka Institute(Do you know?) But I haven't used them in my class yet.
To Toru,
Yes,I agree with you. Using English in the class is also good practice for me.Now, I'm using English only the beginning of the class. I'm still afraid of using all English because I think students cannot understand my English(sometimes they even don't understand my Japanese). But I can do step by step, little by lettle, I hope.
